My experience enables me to offer effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care. I treat a number of mental health disorders, and provide a welcoming place to individuals, families, and couples. While televideo may be an option for individual adult clients, I've typically see children, teens, couples and families in my comfortable home office. * However, since the onset of the health crisis, only televideo appointments with individual ADULT clients have been available, and services are limited to Consultation, Evaluation & Brief Psychotherapy.
My focus is to help children, teens and adults heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I achieve this by providing a safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan. Individual adult clients, throughout Massachusetts, Maryland, Virginia, Wyoming, District of Columbia, Florida, & California, may access services from their home or office via MD Live Online, American Well, or my private HIPPA approved Televideo link.
My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life. For Massachusetts residents, I am listed as "in network" for virtually all insurance plans. For Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia, Wyoming, California & Florida residents, I am regarded as "in network" for Aetna, BCBS - BLUE CARD, Cigna, United, and UBH-OPTUM . Other plans may be accepted pending a review of subscriber benefits.
Depression, sadness, fear, anger, anxiety, negative surprises, and disgust are the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through evaluation and treatment, I am able to help you instill or recover motivation, freedom, perspective, and joy.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. I can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Interpersonal counseling can be beneficial to individuals, families and couples who are looking to broaden and strengthen their emotional connections. Therapy sessions are a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better your relationships.
